Keep all of your ATM/Debit Card Overdraft Privileges - Opt In

Premier Credit Union understands that sometimes you may not have enough money in your account to cover certain transactions. This can occur when you are faced with unforeseen expenses, or may even occur when you have mistaken how much money is in your account. That is why in the past Premier Credit Union covered most of these transactions when you didn't have the funds.

Federal regulations are changing the way we can provide you with overdraft protection services on your checking account. As of August 15, 2010, new Federal Reserve rules require Premier Credit Union checking account owners using ATM or debit cards to provide written permission (Opt In) authorizing us to continue to pay ATM and everyday debit transactions on your account. You may feel it isn’t necessary to Opt In because you’ve never had an issue with insufficient funds, however keep in mind that if you do Opt In and never use the service, there is no charge to you!

To keep your Overdraft Privileges in place, contact us before August 15, 2010 and
Opt In.
