MasterMoney Debit Card

It's like writing a check, but you enjoy all the convenience of using a credit card. Purchases made with your Debit card are deducted directly from your checking account.

• No monthly or annual service fee.
• FREE, UNLIMITED usage for Credit card - Signature-based transactions.
• 15 FREE Debit card - PIN-based purchase and ATM withdraw transactions per month at no charge.  Deposit and balance inquiries do not count as a transaction.  Once an account reaches 15 transactions within a calendar month, it will be charged a fee of $0.50 for each transaction over 15.

ATM Debit Card

Your Premier ATM card acts as a debit card at ATM locations and can be linked to both your checking and savings accounts.

• No monthly or annual service fee.
• 15 FREE ATM debit transactions per month at no charge.  Deposit and balance inquires do not count as a transaction.  Once an account reaches 15 debit transactions within a calendar month, it will be charged a fee of $0.50 for each transaction over 15.

Transactions conducted at the Premier Credit Union ATM located at the main branch downtown are free and do not count towards the 15 transactions.

Minimum Age Requirement for MasterMoney Debit Card and ATM Debit Card: Individual account holders must be at least 18 years of age. If under 18, but no younger than 16, an adult (who will be responsible for all debit card transactions) must sign as a joint owner. 

Avoiding surcharge fees is as simple as 1, 2, 3

1. Look for the Privileged Status logo on ATMs. ATMs displaying this logo will not charge you a fee to use.

   Search Tip: Do not limit your search to a city name if you live in a large metro-area. Search by your state to include all suburbs and surrounding cities in alphabetical order

Lost or Stolen Debit Cards

Call (800) 234-5354 as soon as you realize your card is lost or stolen. We'll cancel it immediately and order you a replacement card.

Disputing a Debit Card Charge

Prior to filing a Credit or Debit Card dispute with Premier Credit Union, you will want to first contact the merchant and attempt to resolve the transaction dispute with them directly.  If no resolution can be made with the merchant, you will then want to file a written dispute with MasterCard ® by submitting an email to the credit union with the information listed below. Choosing Debit or Credit When Paying Electronically

Due to the fees associated with PIN-based debit transactions, Premier Credit Union is asking our members to use the Pen or signature-based transaction when using their Premier MasterMoney Debit Card. Your card bears the MasterCard® logo and can be used as a signature-based transaction wherever MasterCard® is accepted.

When used as a Debit card (PIN-Based):

• You enter your four-digit PIN to complete the purchase.
• You can access a limit of $510 per day.
• The credit union is CHARGED a fee for each transaction from the merchant.
• Withdraw or deposit funds at an ATM.

When used as a Credit card (Signature-Based): 

• You swipe your card, select credit and sign the receipt or the electronic pen pad.
•  You have access to all the available funds in your account.
•  The credit union is PAID a small fee for each transaction from the merchant.
•  You have far more consumer protection rights when used as a credit card.
