PremierOnline Enhancements 

Enhancements to PremierOnline make it even easier to navigate through your accounts and manage your Premier Credit Union accounts online. We enhanced PremierOnline to include our online Account Access, Bill Payment and E-Statement services all on one convenient site.

As a PremierOnline user, you now enjoy several new features including:

Heightened Security.  PremierOnline features Multi-Factor Authentication security, which means there are additional levels of security each time you log in.

Fewer Login Screens.  Logging into PremierOnline is slightly different, but now you  only have to log in one time to access your account, pay your bills or view your statement.

New, But Familiar.  Once logged-in, PremierOnline looks similar to the Account Access screens you're used to seeing. However, you'll have many new features such as calendar view and e-mail alerts that will make managing your account even easier.

Security Upgrade

The Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) recently issued guidelines that direct financial institutions to increase online authentication levels. The FFIEC's purpose for providing this guidance is to combat the increasing number of fraud cases, including identity theft. PremierOnline's security upgrade incorporates Multi-Factor Authentication through Software Token technology, which consists of validation and authentication by verifying three things:

1. Something you are, in the form of answering a question about yourself, such as identifying information like your dog's name or where you went to high school.
2. Something you have, such as a security token on your computer.
3. Something you know, such as a password or PIN.

Mandatory Security Update

The first time online users attempt to log into PremierOnline once the enhancements are live in early January, every online user will be prompted to perform a Security Update. The Security Update is a one-time requirement of every PremierOnline user during that user's first attempt to log in.

• You will be prompted to create three security question and answer pairs. This allows us to verify that you are in fact you, by presenting you with a question that only YOU know the answer to.
• You will be promoted to create a Security Key. On future login attempts the Security Key is a way for you to verify that you have reached our "legitimate" online account access site and not a fraudulent site that just looks like our site. Every time you attempt to log in to your accounts, you will see the Security Key you created. If you do not see the Security Key or it is not the one you created then you know you are NOT on our legitimate online account access site.
• The last piece of the security update is something current PremierOnline users already know. This is your password.

Calendar View

Review your account history and future scheduled activities in a monthly calendar view. You'll still be able to view a single account's history detail in a list if you like, but now you'll have the option to go quickly to a specific day and see only the account activity on that date. This includes dates in the future that you have scheduled activity or email reminders  scheduled to occur. 

Check Register

The Check Register is a convenient feature that allows you to balance your checkbook online. You'll simply click the check box on each transaction line as you work through reconciling your checking account. As you check the box next to each cleared transaction, the Check Register tracking totals update on your screen. 

Customized Settings

Choose the color scheme that you like to see on your screen.  If green is your favorite color, go ahead and set your color setting to green. You can also choose which screen you see first when you log in. If you usually like to look at the calendar view before viewing your account detail, set your custom start page to Calendar View so it is the first screen you see whenever you log in.

Beyond just making your online experience more personal and convenient, customizing your settings is another security feature. If your customized settings do not appear when you log in, you will instantly know you have been re-directed to a fraudulent site and you should contact us.

Set Up Future Transfers

You'll be able to set up one-time or recurring transfers from one account to another at future dates. If your payroll is direct deposited into your checking account every payday, but you want to transfer some of your deposit to your savings account every time you get paid, set up a recurring transfer to make the transfer automatically for you.

Email Alerts and Reminders

Would you like to know if your checking account dips below a specific amount or when a specific check clears without logging in to look at your accounts everyday? Set up custom account alerts to automatically send you an email when an event occurs. You can also set up email reminders for personal reminders such as someone's birthday. You'll never forget an special event in your life again.

Alternate Login

Many people don't like using their account number as their UserID when they log in. If you're one of these people, give yourself an alternate login. Now when you log in, you'll type in your alternate login instead of your account number. This is especially nice if you use a computer at work or other public place where someone could be looking over your shoulder.

Account Nicknames

You'll no longer need to remember which account type or number is your checking account versus your savings account, or which account is your "fun" money versus the account you use to pay your bills. Give each account a nickname that designates what you use it for.

Session Timeout Counter

The session timeout feature lets you control the length of time that your online session will stay alive between clicks. Your custom counter time displays on every screen and tells you how much time you have before your session automatically times out.
